Hulu Live Coming Soon

Hulu has just released an official ad for a Live TV service to rival the cable companies packages. This seems to be similar to existing services like Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, and DirecTV Now. They all offer live internet tv for a much lower price than the normal cable box. Each service has unique benefits and unique channels with some overlap. I have owned Sling TV and I am currently subscribed to PS Vue $35 plan because it offers more sports channels.

Also, I am currently subscribed to the Hulu $11.99 commercial free plan and I look forward to seeing what they will do with Live TV. Based upon the ad, the User Interface (design of the app and website) looks really clean and easy to use. I appreciate that they are adding user support so that my shows do not get mixed up with others in my household. PS Vue offers a similar feature where each user can choose favorite shows that save to the account they have. For example, with this new user support, I will favorite ESPN which is already confirmed to be apart of the service. This way I can be notified about my favorite shows coming on, and based upon the ad, I can "save for later". More information will be added as it is released.

I have charts showing the channel lineup of the existing companies and would love to share with anyone who is interested. I will have Hulu's as soon as it is made available.
