You have so many different way to gain news these days. Even your favorite news channel has an app now that will deliver multiple subjects. CNN and Huffington Post both offer World News, Local News, Sports, Culture, and Technology. So many different ways to consume these big stories. But sometimes you may want to hear even more and from different sources. So companies created apps to bring different news together. Google News, Google Now, and Apple News all have a pretty similar concept. They try to deliver news to you based upon your favorite topics. Google Now takes it a step further because they can deliver stories to you based upon your search history. Apple News allows you to choose topics or sources and they will add it to the app for your enjoyment. This is called aggregate news.

a whole formed by combining several (typically disparate) elements.

Before Apple Introduced the Apple News app, and before I discovered that Google Now could be life changing, I had Flipboard.

Flipboard was my favorite, most used, and most opened app for a very long time. I love reading news and I love staying up to date with many different topics. That's the whole concept behind aggregated news.

Flipboard just did an update to make this a whole lot easier and cleaner to do. Check out this video to see how that made it easier for you to learn about all your favorite topics.

They have other cool features like sharing a magazine with a friend so you all can read awesome news together. Its a much better way to share content than emailing a story to someone.

You also have the ability to create your own magazines from sources you like. This takes it a step further from just curating the type of news you like. You can read from the authors or teams you enjoy.
